I Am Willing To Allow More Money
Very often I hear people say that they are willing to allow more money into their lives and yet as I listen to their words, I can also tell either through the words they use or their body language that they are not truly willing to allow more Money into their lives. While they think on level that they are willing, on another they are still focusing too on beliefs that are hindering their ability to attract greater financial flow.
We have all been taught so many things that we come to regard as "Truth" when we think about people who have a great deal of Money. Some of these include "Rich people are greedy, idle and selfish". "The Wealthy rarely give anything back to society, they only take. And when they do give, its only to make themselves look good". Or how about "People only become wealthy through screwing over others". While there certainly are some wealthy people who are not the nicest people on the planet to know, so too are there some very not nice people who are very hurtful to others who are poor. Money has nothing to do with what sort of person you or anyone else is. There are people who are idle and selfish who are poor. There are people who are greedy who are poor. Take money out of the equation altogether and at the end of the day, its the person you choose to be that determines what sort of person you are, money never determines it.
If someone is hanging on to these sorts of beliefs, its going to be much more challenging for them to attract more Money into their lives. After all, who wants to be thought of as selfish or greedy because they are abundantly wealthy! Yet when people start to think about who taught them these "truths" they begin to see that very often it was parents, teachers, colleagues, and others who had not had much experience begin round truly wealthy people. Or they read about these sorts of people in books and in the news, never asking themselves "is this really true? Or is this something that is true about some wealthy people and not all? If I was as wealthy as Bill Gates (for example), what sort of person would I like to be? How would I truly want to live my life?" When someone starts to really examine where these beliefs came from they can begin to see that they are only thoughts that can be changed. No one ever has to buy into beliefs for the whole of their lifetime unless of course that is what they choose to do.
Being truly willing to allow more Money into your own life is really about understanding that Money doesn't make a person any better or worse than anyone else. You are still going to be who you truly are inside, you are simply going to have a greater abundance of something we call Money. How you choose to use that Money is totally up to you.
Another thought belief that can block the flow of Money is the one that says that if you have a lot of Money, you have to share it with anyone who asks for it from you. Please know though that there really isn't any judge sitting up in the sky saying "well, you have all this Money so now you need to save the world". It doesn't work that way. Yes, you can help others and yet the best help you can give someone else is the gift of teaching them how to help themselves. Otherwise you create a dependency situation in which no one benefits, including the dependent. Its amazing to me how many people I have talked to over the years who have said how much they would love to win the lottery and yet they are also frightened that they will be besieged by "long lost friends" and family members, all with their hands out for a share. And in fact there have been many lottery winners who have gone through their winnings quite quickly with the help of family and friends and when the money ran out, so too did the family and friends. . Yet here again, this was a CHOICE the winner made, they could have chosen differently. If the winner had in fact made choices that would have helped them to sustain their winnings and made the Money grow and multiply, and if others chose not to respect those choices that the winner was making, that says much about about THEM than it does the person who won the Money. Making conscious and thoughtful choices about when and how you or someone else chooses to share or spend their money energy is a good thing when it truly makes you feel good and is coming from the heart. Being emotionally blackmailed into it only does harm.
Everyone has their own personal fears and concerns in regards to what might happen if they suddenly did begin to attract much more Money Energy in to their own lives. What are yours? Sit down with a pen and paper and just write down what ever comes to you. Often the answers can be very surprising and yet once you know what they are, you can also begin the process of sweeping them aside. Just say to yourself I want to believe new thoughts about Money Energy, I want to believe that attracting more Money Energy into my life can only bring me and those I love Good. I want to believe that no matter what, I am a worthy, lovable and loving person and no amount of money is ever going to change the truth of who I am! I EMBRACE the greater flow of Money Energy with Love and feelings of Joy and Gratitude, because this is how life is meant to be!
