I Am Lucky With Money Energy
This is one of my personal favourite affirmations and one that I do tell myself frequently. What I have found is that when I tell myself that I am lucky with Money Energy, Money Energy flows to me in the amounts that I feel comfortable allowing (Yes, indeed I am working on expanding this!) and in ways that DO make me feel very lucky and blessed! One of the insights I have had into this affirmation is that it helps to attract feelings and thoughts about Money Energy that feel good. Money Energy then feels fun and enjoyable to me, it feels like something that is delicious for me to focus on. This in turn helps to attract experiences with Money Energy that ARE fun, that ARE enjoyable and that ARE delicious! It helps to put the focus of the mind directly where it needs to be, that Money Energy is a source of good, that it is meant to help expand our joy and happiness in life, that is given to us by Spirit that we may live the best lives that we can possibly imagine. And do I ever feel lucky that I had this insight for myself!
Not too long ago business was flowing more slowly than normal and I started thinking that it wasn't a problem. Instead I kept affirming that I am very lucky with Money Energy, that because I believe more and more that I am in fact very lucky with Money Energy that more would somehow find its way to me. Within a few days three things happened that showed me my affirmation was working! First, I got the hit to purchase a lottery scratch ticket, something I don't normally do. I did it in the spirit of fun and play, saying to my partner that today felt like a lucky day so why not live a little! I won a small amount of money and yet it wasn't the sum of money that I won that made me feel so good. It was that sense of pure joy that the Universe had heard my affirmations, had sent me a sign that it was indeed looking after me and my beloved family and all was well. Then the next day I received two letters in the post. One was from a person very dear to me who I had done some work for in the past while knowing that she could not pay me in full at that time. I was totally okay with that and then promptly forgot that she felt she owed me Money Energy at all. She sent a payment with her letter. Talk about timing! I was so excited because again I felt the Universe was speaking to me on a much deeper level that went beyond Money Energy itself. Though certainly I was very grateful to receive this money! The second envelope though totally blew my mind six ways from Sunday. This dear person had sent me a cash donation because she appreciated my work, thought it important and wanted to contribute to it. I was ecstatic! I was hopping round here laughing and crying and saying YES YES YES! I AM Lucky with Money Energy, yes indeedy I am!! The Money Energy that was flowed to me through these wonderful people helped to insure that I was able to pay a few bills on time and saw me through until things picked up again with my business so I did not have to touch one penny of the money I had in savings. I know that had I allowed myself to start complaining, asking what was wrong and what I could do to "fix" it, I might well have been in for a long dry spell Money Energy wise. Yet because I chose to think instead of feeling lucky with Money Energy it found its way to me in ways that I was not expecting and yet helped me to feel even luckier than I ever had before.
This of course gained a momentum all its own and I began to think back to all the times I have felt very lucky with Money Energy. At one point in my life I didn't know how I was going to feed my children, let alone pay my rent and bills. Yet somehow the money always found a way to me. Or someone would stop by with a few bags of groceries saying that they couldn't use this food but knowing I had two young children thought I would be happy to have it. Oh Yes! A client would ring and say that they had a friend who could really benefit from what I had to offer and could they stop later that day and see me. YES! That paid the electric bill that month. Or I would find Money Energy on the street. One time I had $5.00 blow up against my foot as I was waiting to cross a street. Another time I found a $20.00. And I almost always find coins each week, often I walk almost literally right into them as though the Universe planted it there for me to find. Now this Money Energy goes into a special container to remind me that I am lucky with Money Energy, and that the more I focus on being lucky with Money Energy, the luckier with it I am!
Good luck no matter what form it comes in truly is a state of mind. Psychologist Richard Wiseman has done research into why some people are lucky and others are not. What he has found is that there truly are some vital differences. Some of these include being open to new experiences. I would say this also includes being willing to alter one's point of view, something that you are doing by working with Affirmations. Lucky people tend to expect good things to happen to them. They see blessings and good luck in all that happens to them in life. They listen to their intuition, they honour and value it. They make it a top priority to listen within and follow its guidance rather than just listening to everyone else. They see the good that is already in their lives and they fell blessed by it. They give thanks for it and expect even more. They keep their eyes wide open expecting that as they do, they will see and experience good luck and lucky opportunities everywhere they go.
Dr. Wiseman also suggests that people keep a good luck notebook or journal. At the end of each day you simply jot down anything that happened to you that you felt was lucky. It is so easy to forget about all the little things that are lucky in our bid to have BIG lucky events happen. Yet all these little ones add up to a HUGE chunk of luck when we stop and think about it! And by focusing on the smaller lucky happenstances, we must by Law of Attraction attract ever bigger and even more joyful experiences of good luck!
