Defenders of Wildlife
I love this site and I love the work these folks are doing! This is one of the organizations that I donate money to when ever I can. A percentage of the money that comes into Morningstar is donated to this organization and I hope you will join me in support of them and other groups such as these!
Heifer International
This is a wonderful organization that helps entire communities as well as families around the world to better their lives and the lives of their children through helping them to become self-sufficient through donations of livestock, bees, agricultural supplies such as seeds and tree seedlings, and so on. I became involved with this organization after the death of my beloved adopted mum who strongly believed in helping others, to give people a hand up instead of just a hand out. I heard about them through something I received in the post over 7 years ago now, the same year she passed away and it just seemed a wonderful way to honour the life of someone who gave so much to so many. Heifer International helps people to be empowered through their own efforts and in doing so they are feeding souls as well as bodies! It doesn't take alot of money to help someone else and every little bit does make a difference!
